FROM CHRISTOPHER HARTL:

From the point I started working in the beauty industry I had a passion to use tech to help in all facets of a salon business. There are some humans that run away from tech and business complications, I must have a bit of firefighter in me because Im first on site, last to leave. We started in a Sola location, and scaling to a 7 figure enterprise in the first 5 years was possible because of the constant betterment and evolvemnt of our salon systems, and how we could integrate tech in any and every way to help position our brand in a very very very established market.

Learning accounting systems, point of sale, inventory, crm, building funnels and a bespoke client onboarding system its tought me that the work of evolving a beauty brand is never finished. By working to future proof your systems and features to the most current and industry leading innovation and at the same time building a foundation to build and scale on.

As a commissioned salon co-owner, I look at the function of a salon from a servant leadership perspective. A salon organizations function is to support their artists, another way from a SAS standpoint is to think of the services you offer your team. Schedule freedom, career and lifestyle empowerment, the tech, how easy is it for your team to do the thing that is their genius and not worry about the things of the backend. Building systems and an org charg within a brand that has the highest level of support.

Its never been more challenging, and also its never been more empowering and exciting as an operator of a company with 20 + humans on our team. Having the servant leader culture along with tech has really allowed us to become a nationally, state, & local market industry leader.
Id love to help you optmize your business and bring some optimization and organization and awareness into your salon company.

Christopher has always possessed a passion for utilizing technology to enhance various facets of salon business since his inception into the beauty industry. While some individuals may shy away from the complexities of technology and business, Christopher embraces them wholeheartedly, demonstrating a proactive approach akin to a firefighter—always the first on site and the last to leave.

Embarking on his journey in a Sola location, Christopher spearheaded the scaling of his venture into a seven-figure enterprise within the initial five years. This achievement was made possible through the continual refinement and evolution of salon systems, coupled with strategic integration of technology to carve a distinct niche in a well-established market.

His immersion in learning accounting systems, point of sale, inventory management, CRM, and the development of bespoke client onboarding systems has underscored the perpetual nature of evolving a beauty brand. Christopher emphasizes the importance of future-proofing systems and features, aligning them with cutting-edge industry innovations while establishing a robust foundation for growth and scalability.

As a commissioned salon owner, Christopher adopts a servant leadership perspective, viewing the salon organization's role as one that primarily supports its artists. From a software as a service (SaaS) standpoint, he coined the idea of SAAS “Salon as a Service” mindset which advocates for providing services that empower team members, offering them schedule flexibility, career advancement opportunities, and streamlined technological solutions that allow them to focus on their areas of expertise without being burdened by backend operations.

Navigating the challenges of salon management with a servant leader ethos and technological prowess has propelled Christopher's company to become a leader at the national, state, and local market levels. With a team of over 20 individuals, Christopher remains dedicated to optimizing businesses, bringing forth organizational efficiency and heightened awareness to salon companies seeking transformation and growth.
